Cicada are a five piece folk rock band based in Dublin, formed by Harvey McNevin and Christopher Mason, Chiara Giannini, Ali Carney and Steven Lothian. The band came together through a shared love of myth and storytelling, with inspiration drawn from many different sources. Since the bands formation we have been recognised by Hot Press as one of Ireland's emerging acts to watch and we continue to build on our creativity through our immersive live shows.

Every member brings a different perspective to the writing and arrangements but the focus is always the same. A story should reveal something new each time you return to it.
